Norwich City's under-21s comfortably beat King's Lynn Town's under-23s to secure their place in the semi-finals of the Norfolk Hire Senior Cup.
Second-half goals from Gabriel Forsyth and Adian Manning secured the victory for Alan Neilson's side, who are now just two wins away from winning the trophy after a 2-1 win over Dereham in the last 16.
City go into the hat with Watton United after their win over Harleston Town, with Wroxham facing Downham Town and Diss Town facing Gorleston in the remaining quarter-final ties tomorrow.
Errol Mundle-Smith had the first real chance of the game when he fired over the hosts' bar in the ninth minute, before Marcel McIntosh diverted Forsyth's free-kick in the same direction.
Lynn went into half time level, but it didn't take long for the visitors to take the lead in the second period. Forsyth's free kick was the source of the danger once more, curling expertly home to open the scoring.
Ellis Craven and Charlie Wilson were called upon for late defensive interventions in a bright period for the Linnets midway through the second period, but Manning put the game beyond doubt when he converted McIntosh's parried cross.
Next up for City's under-21s are Reading, who they visit next Monday as they bid to climb the Premier League 2 table.
