Acle go on goal spree

Norfolk & Suffolk Women's Cup ties were played at the weekend with Acle United and Woodbridge going through with the biggest scorelines.Acle United went on a goal blitz against Brantham Athletic, winning 7-1, while Woodbridge put the same number of goals past AFC Sudbury, with one in reply.

Norfolk clubs also through are Hethersett Athletic, who beat Thorpe United 5-1, King's Lynn Community Scheme who dispatched Coltishall Jaguars 4-2, and Mulbarton Wanderers who knocked Runton United out 3-0.

West Lynn lost out 2-1 to visitors Whitton United and the game between Haverhill Rovers and Ipswich Town was postponed.
