Albion bounce back

WENSUM ALBION 2, HORSFORD ‘A’ 0: After two disappointing defeats Albion were desperate to get some points on the board at home to Horsford ‘A’.

Albion seemed to take their foot off the pedal in the second half as Horsford made the most of the extra space over the park playing some passing football. Horsford were given a lifeline midway through the half as defender Everett was harshly adjudged to have handballed in the area. The resultant penalty was well saved by the on-form Hales and cleared to safety. There was still time for Jarrett to head wide with a good opportunity for the home side but Albion saw out the match with relative ease from a hardworking performance.
