The Rogers and Norton Norwich Business Houses Football League held its Annual General Meeting at Trowse White Horse on the 17th May; guest was Shaun Turner, chief executive for the Norfolk County FA, he outlined the new proposed re-structure for local football leagues and also the “Respect” campaign, he then answered questions from the floor.

It was announced that Rogers and Norton Solicitors would no longer be the sponsors of the league, Graham Knights practice manager was asked to convey the League's gratitude for their support for the past nine seasons to the partners of R & N. The league is to now actively seek a new sponsor or sponsors for its three divisions and the cup competitions, and anyone considering sponsoring the 85 year old League can email the president on stephen48waller@yahoo.co.uk

The following officers were re-elected: Stephen Waller as President, M Gowen, D Place and G Knights as vice presidents, Michael Banham as chairman and Andy Clarke as vice chairman however due to family commitments Lucy Jermy has stepped down from her duties as the league secretary and treasurer and she will be replaced by Chris Everett as league secretary and Nigel Harrod will take on the treasurer's duties. David Thorn also left his position as fixture secretary and has been replaced by Gary Notley. Both Lucy and David were thanked by the league officers and representatives of the clubs attending for their sterling work over the past three seasons.

The attending member clubs were informed that the Norfolk County FA had sanctioned the league's request to increase its captive boundary area; and that as from the start of season 2009/2010 it can now accept applications from clubs within an area of a 15 mile radius from Norwich Castle.

Six new teams were accepted and will take part in Division 3 next season, they were Yelverton Reserves, Reepham A, Horsford A, Toucan Ketts Tavern, Hockering FC and Hellesdon Wanderers.
