Fielding a strong squad with the additional luxury of a substitute, Aylsham worked hard to combine accurate passing and tackling with reliable defending.
An excellent all-round performance by Aylsham soon had the game under control. Captain Flick Farraway consistently and accurately headed the ball away in defence, supported well in defence by Vicki Bird and Kylie Timmins.

The ball was moved swiftly through the midfield to the attack. The first goal came from Michaela England on the wing who superbly fired the ball into the top corner.
This was quickly followed by a goal for Debbie Kelly who slotted the ball home after the keeper parried an earlier shot. Abby Timmins finished off an excellent passing sequence for 3-0 at half-time.

Stalham, with a change of formation, posed more of a threat second half but Sarah Bird in goal was rarely troubled. Aylsham put Lauren Dunthorne up front, and she cleverly chipped the Stalham keeper to make it 4-0.
Gina Atherton fired home from a corner and there was just enough time for Kylie Timmins to score an excellent goal from outside the area. Aylsham won 6-0 with six names on the score sheet.
