Swaffham's visit to the Wellesley this Saturday will not remain as their most memorable.

The defeat provided the Bloaters with their highest aggregate so far this season but was not a real reflection on the performance on the pitch.

The Pedlars haemorrhaged six goals in the last 20 minutes, four of those in the last ten minutes!

Lee Brooks again had a fine game, coming out best in several one-to-ones and saved a questionable penalty. The determination showed by Gary Haime and Michael Cozens was not enough to inspire the squad to provide a better performance. Good to see Matthew Kenny return to a match start following surgery.

A better result for the Reserves, beating Mattishall Reserves 3 - 2, the A team losing out 3-2 to Gressenhall.

Swaffham first team travel to Saffron Walden Town this Wednesday, 7.45 pm kick off and then host Thetford Town in the return derby, the first meeting ending as a 1 - 1 draw, Saturday 3pm kick-off.

The Reserves travel away to Spixworth United Reserves (ko 4pm), the A team are away to Nostro in the Fen Regis Invitation Shield, 3pm ko.
