Norwich City midfielder Darel Russell will serve his three-match ban after the Football Association dismissed his appeal against a red card.
Russell was given a straight red by referee Russell Booth during Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Southampton.
The Canaries had appealed against the sending-off, which was criticised by City boss Paul Lambert, but this afternoon the FA threw their claim out.
It means Russell will miss tonight's clash with Southend United at Carrow Road and City's next two games against Oldham Athletic and Yeovil Town.
