Hellesdon Belles 2, Costessey Ladies 3
In a wonderful cup semi-final the Belles lost 3-2 to Costessey.
Costessey scored when their header hit the bar then the post and then the net.
In the second half Oli Kober equalised before a deflected shot gave Costessey the lead. A clinical finish made it 3-1 before Cath Heslin pulled one back to set up a fantastic finish, but it wasn’t to be.
Every player on the pitch put in a superb effort and, as Costessey said after the game, it would have made a great final.
