Belles do the double over Baptists
Hellesdon Belles made the short journey to Norwich City Baptist Church.
The previous week Belles had beaten them at home 6-1 and Belles continued with constant pressure which produced several chances, the best from Heather whose effort pushed onto the bar.
The keeper was injured and had to be replaced and the stand-in keeper made several excellent saves but finally Cath scored from close range to give Belles the half-time lead.
The second half continued in the same vein, but the ball just would not go in.
Kim and Bel defended magnificently and and JB produced a stunning save before Bex added the second from Cath’s free kick.
