After Bury had taken the lead, Reece Hunn was brought down for a penalty which was converted by Adam Smith. Early second half Bury scored the deciding goal. Play was faily even in the second period.
Hopes of signing Trevor Benjamin were ended on Friday when the former million pound striker signed for Tamworth.
