Newly promoted Yarmouth quickly got themselves back on track following Saturday's 4-0 FA Cup defeat to Norwich United with a 3-2 win at Wroxham in the Ridgeons League Premier Division last night.

Wroxham made the perfect start with a headed goal in the opening minute from skipper Graham Challen. But the Bloaters stormed back and hit the woodwork twice before equalising on 55 minutes after Dany Katabana brought down Luke Fell. Kevin Howes' spot-kick was saved by Scott Howie but he scored with the follow-up.

Roberts put the Bloaters ahead on 76 minutes and Howes headed the third from a corner before Alain Bruell set up a tense finish by replying from a free-kick.

Norwich United lost 2-1 at home to Leiston, whose Danny Cunningham scored the winner seven minutes from time. Lee Hunter's 50th minute penalty had wiped out Stuart Boardley's 37th minute opener.

Wisbech continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 home win over Ely City.
