Yarmouth celebrated their first home win over close rivals Gorleston for 12 years when they beat them 3-1 after extra time in the Ridgeons League Cup. They needed extra time to do it after former Bloater Steve Taylor had equalised Stewart Roach's opener. Sub Jake Reed restored their lead in the extra period before Roach struck again to seal the tie.
Wroxham also needed extra time to beat Dereham 2-1 in an all-Premier derby. Former Magpie Olly King ended a superb counter-attack to give the Yachtsmen an early lead but Robbie Harris headed the equaliser nine minutes from normal time. The winner was a 25-yard blast by Steve Spriggs.
The other Norfolk derby saw Diss win 1-0 at Swaffham with a first half goal from Mark Shadrack from a free-kick.
