Blofield United regained top spot in the Premier Division after going on an eight-goal spree against Wymondham Town.

Chris Holmes fired a hat-trick for the home side, with Duncan Whitlam, James Bulman, Ben Morgan and Ashley Mitchell also on target. David Ramsbottom replied for the overwhelmed visitors.

Morning leaders Acle were held to a 2-2 draw at Spixworth and drop to second.

Daniel Brown netted twice for Spixworth, with Ricky Forder and Ricci Butler scoring for Acle.

Cromer and Dersingham were in similar goalscoring form to Blofield as both hit six goals to secure victories which maintain their challenge at the top.

Reigning champions Cromer – who trail the leaders by six points with four games in hand – beat Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves 6-1.

Simon Durrant and David Matthews both bagged braces, while Antoni Fawkes and Samuel Applegate completed the rout. Miguel Lopez was Kirkley’s scorer.

Dersingham thrashed Sheringham 6-0 courtesy of goals from Daniel Jezeph (2), Christopher Maslin (2), Paul English and Robert Palmer.

Beccles edged Mattishall 2-1 with strikes from Thomas Roberts and Neil Hurren, while George Watts-Sturrock was on target for Mattishall.

Wroxham Reserves picked up a 3-2 win at bottom side Hempnall as Matthew Doyle, Aaron Sanders and Gavin Lemmon found the net for the visitors. Ben Player and Tom Franklin scored for Hempnall.

Second from bottom North Walsham lost 4-1 at home to Loddon.

Stephen Drake fired the only goal as Reepham won at St Andrews.

In Division One, a hat-trick from Joe Harrison boosted Wells’ survival bid as they beat bottom side Brandon 5-1. Carl Baldry and Daniel Wick also found the net for the Seasiders.

Horsford’s James Taylor hammered a treble to add to goals from Steven Middleton and Ross Pantry in a 5-0 defeat of Holt.

Lawrence Cheese netted twice for Stalham as they drew 3-3 at Aylsham. Nicholas Meale also scored for Stalham, with Aylsham’s goals coming from Edward Botwright, James Oliver and Philip Read.

Doubles from Anton Ward and Garrett Ward saw Caister move up to second with a 6-1 victory at home to lowly Hellesdon.

David Norman was on target twice in Harl eston Town’s 4-2 win against Poringland Wanderers and goals from David West, Kevin Whittred and Stuart Broughton gave Hindringham a 3-0 success against high-flying Long Stratton.

Leaders Norwich CEYMS won 1-0 at Bradenham Wanderers.
