Lowestoft Town joint boss Micky Chapman has called on his side to embark on another winning run after their unbeaten sequence came to an end last Saturday against CRC.

Lowestoft Town joint boss Micky Chapman rules out complacency ahead of the Ridgeons Premier Division leaders' trip to lowly Harwich & Parkeston.

The Blues eased to a 3-1 Crown Meadow win last month but Chapman is wary of the new manager bounce following the recent appointment of ex-AFC Sudbury chief Mark Morsley.

"It's a difficult place to go," said Chapman.

"We're under no illusions, they have a new manager and their players will raise their game for the new boss as they will want to keep their shirts - he will probably bring a few players with him as well."

Dale Cockrill returned from injury and suspension during the 3-2 home win over Woodbridge last time out that kept Lowestoft a commanding nine points clear of the chasing pack.

"It was a workmanlike performance where we ground out a result," said Chapman.

"Sometimes you have to win ugly. The lads know the quality wasn't there, but sometimes you have to dig in and all credit goes to them for getting the three points.

"It's very difficult to perform week in, week out - even the Premiership sides can't do it all the time - but we produced the minimum requirement we needed to and still got the result when we weren't at our best.

"We know we can do better, but all credit goes to the boys for the way they stuck together."

Winger Jamie Godbold returns from suspension for the trip to Harwich but keeper Dave Attridge is unavailable. Keeper Andy Reynolds is a major injury doubt and long-term absentee Craig Lewis could be handed a reserve run out as he steps up his bid for match fitness.

Town could be handed a boost by neighbours and rivals Kirkley & Pakefield who host second-placed Wivenhoe Town.

Victory for K&P and Lowestoft will extend the Blues lead at the top of the table to up to 12 points.

Dereham boss Matty Henman drafts promising youngster Joel Brien into his squad for the game at Woodbridge.

Midfielders Sam Willis and Craig Terrington have both been passed fit.

Former King's Lynn striker Chris Bacon has extended his Aldiss loan spell a further month from league rivals Mildenhall.

Wisbech duo Nick Impey (hamstring) and Lewis Cook (ankle) look set to miss Town's test at Wroxham.
