AFC Sudbury Ladies 2, Brandon Ladies 1
BRANDON LADIES travelled to AFC Sudbury for the second weekend, this time for a top-of-the-table league fixture.
Brandon were up against it from the start with only 10 players but took an early lead with Love heading home from a Forshaw cross.
The lead was short lived as Brandon failed to clear their lines, with the team working hard to keep things tight fell behind from a shot that trickled over the line after a deflection.
Sudbury kept bodies behind the ball in the second half but Brandon always looked dangerous from set pieces. The home side failed to convert a penalty late on with Smith making a good save.
Brandon Ladies now have three games left knowing three wins will give them the title.
