BRANDON Ladies progressed to the semi-finals of the Suffolk Women’s League Cup with a hard-fought victory at Debenham.
On a heavy pitch Brandon took an early lead through Forshaw and looked comfortable, but the hard-working Debenham kept the visitors out until late in the game when D Howard’s shot beat the keeper.
With minutes remaining Debenham pulled a goal back but Brandon held out into the next round.
Final score: Debenham Ladies 1, Brandon Ladies 2.
