Norwich City defender Rocky Bushiri has joined Belgian top-flight club KV Mechelen on loan ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The Belgian youth international signed for the Canaries last summer - before spending the opening half of the season on-loan at League One outfit Blackpool, but he struggled to nail down a starting berth under then manager Simon Grayson.
The defender hit a stoppage-time winner in Pool’s EFL Trophy win against Wolves Under-21s in November. Bushiri memorably ripped off his shirt to celebrate the goal in front of a virtually empty Bloomfield Road.
He went onto sign for Sint-Truiden in his native country, where he made seven appearances for De Kanaries - helping them to secure a mid-table finish in the Jupiler Pro League.
Bushiri will now link up with KV Mechelen ahead of the new season. Managed by Wouter Vrancken, De Kakkers finished sixth in the table - ahead of Belgian giants Anderlecht and Genk.
