Norwich City’s Championship finale against Aston Villa is the hottest ticket in town, with both clubs confirming the game at Villa Park on Sunday May 5 is now sold out.

City fans had already snapped up their away allocation but Villa confirmed on Thursday morning all home areas have now sold out for what could still be a pivotal game for both clubs.

Daniel Farke’s table topping side are closing in on promotion, which could come over Easter, but attention would then switch to sealing the league title. Villa have stormed into the top six under Dean Smith after a superb run of results and will look to maintain that winning surge at the Canaries’ expense as they head into the play-offs.

Jordan Rhodes’ second half brace sealed a 2-1 home win for Farke’s squad in the corresponding fixture, in what was Smith’s second match in charge of his boyhood club after leaving Brentford.

The final day clash could also be a straight shoot out between Teemu Pukki and Tammy Abraham for the Championship golden boot winner. Pukki has notched 27 in the league but Abraham is only three behind and has scored three in his last four games.
