Daniel Farke previewed Norwich City’s Championship trip to Bournemouth - and we had all the key lines first from a video chat with the boss at Colney.

Farke will be forced into one change from the starting line up that drew 2-2 against Preston at Carrow Road with Kieran Dowell ruled out for the next three months after undergoing ankle ligament surgery.

Emi Buendia would be a prime candidate to replace Dowell and the Argentine has been passed fit after his own shin issue curtailed an expected seasonal re-appearance against Alex Neil’s side. Marco Stiepermann is also in the mix after his back problem.

Farke will provide a full fitness update on the rest of those who were on duty last weekend.

Jacob Sorensen has been ruled out with a knee issue after tweaking a ligament but Farke is hopeful he will return in ‘four to five days’.

Grant Hanley returned to full training this week after his hamstring surgery at the end of last season but is not under consideration this weekend. Sam Byram is not expected to be in contention until early in the new year.

Sam McCallum sealed a season long loan move to Coventry at the start of the week. Josip Drmic, Moritz Leitner and Tom Trybull are not part of the plans for the new season.

Farke spoke to the media remotely from Colney.
