Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe warns a Premier League relegation scrap at Norwich City this weekend could have far-reaching consequences.

Howe's side sit one place above City, who prop up the rest, and the Cherries' chief knows the heat is on following a wretched run of four points from 33, with questions now also being asked about his longer term future on the south-coast.

Bournemouth were booed off by home fans last weekend after losing 3-0 at home to Watford, and Howe, speaking on Friday morning, wants his players to deliver at Carrow Road.

That also means taking the pressure off England striker Callum Wilson, with Bournemouth mustering only one goal in the last six games.

"We need to work hard, we need to play as a team and we need to show how much this game means to us and our supporters," he said, who confirmed at his pre-match press call Joshua King and Jack Stacey are ruled out. "The players know how important every game is now. We're going to run out of games if we don't turn this form around, so it's a massive game for us.

"I am always reflecting. Every game, every training session, that reflection is one of my biggest strengths. We reviewed everything we did against Watford, looked at what went wrong and have tried to work on those things.

"Every player in every position has the responsibility to help us attack. Callum is a team player. If the team performs, Callum will score."
