Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 1-0 Premier League win against Bournemouth.

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who again failed to cash in on a number of chances to extend their lead but crucially kept the back door shut to edge a tense relegation battle.

- Tim Krul

Massive stop at a key stage to tip over Nathan Ake's goalbound header. 7

- Max Aarons

So progressive in his attacking play. Couldn't bring himself to watch Teemu Pukki's match-winning penalty but bundles of energy to stretch Bournemouth in that final quarter. Maturing rapidly. 7

- Christoph Zimmermann

Far more solid in possession than recent outings. Maybe did just enough with a sliding attempted clearance to distract Callum Wilson from slotting a golden second half chance. 7

- Ben Godfrey

Looked an ugly, late lunge on Callum Wilson and rightly upgraded from a yellow by the official with the aid of a television replay. Now poised to miss three games. Daniel Farke blamed it on youthful naivety. Vital smothering block on Ake earlier in the second half. 6

- Sam Byram

The bravest of brave headers set up Pukki for a superb chance to double his and Norwich's lead. An absolute bargain buy. 7

- Alex Tettey (C)

Lashed a wild strike into the River End. But very often the spare man in midfield and took the responsibility on numerous occasions when Bournemouth tried to press high. 7

- Kenny McLean

Perfect foil for Alex Tettey. Used his athleticism and running power to break up play and nullify Bournemouth's attempts to counter. Might be set for an extended spell in a deeper-lying role if he can maintain this output. 7

- Emi Buendia

Arguably Norwich's most consistent performer in the past month or so. Now bordering on the farcical he is still without a Premier League goal. Again, prominent in his chance creation. Notably for Pukki but also planted a very good headed opportunity wide and then denied by Aaron Ramsdale's outstretched right boot after a superb slaloming run. 8

- Ondrej Duda

All that was missing was a debut goal. And only Steve Cook's arm denied him that in the incident that led to a red card and Pukki's penalty. Vision, technical ability and in Farke's own words 'sheer class'. Set the tempo and lasted the pace on his first outing in weeks. High bar set. 8

- Todd Cantwell

His ability to stretch the play was a vital commodity in the closing moments. Won a few free kicks to run down the clock and quell Bournemouth's bid for a late leveller. Already appears on the same wavelength as Ondrej Duda with some clever link up play. 7

- Teemu Pukki

Tenth Premier League goal of the season, 40th for Norwich. Cool, composed finish from 12 yards. Should have had a second when Ramsdale guessed right in their personal duel. Looked fresh and fit after a three-game injury layoff. 8
