Norwich City have confirmed their EFL Cup first round tie with Luton Town will be played on Saturday, September 5 - meaning the Canaries could be without as many as 15 players for the fixture.
City were drawn to face the Hatters on Tuesday, and will travel to Kenilworth Road hoping to progress to the second round of the competition.
Watford and AFC Bournemouth won’t feature in the first-round, with the Canaries included after finishing bottom of the Premier League last season.
But the Canaries could be without a plethora of their first-team squad, owed to international duty which overlaps with this fixture.
So far, Tim Krul and Przemyslaw Placheta have been confirmed in the Netherlands and Poland Under-21 sides respectively.
