Newcastle United’s clinical efficiency is a thing of beauty to Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke.
Norwich City have carved out stacks of chances in the Premier League for most of this season, but despite Teemu Pukki's impressive step up to the highest level, they continue to lack that cutting edge on a weekly basis.
Farke knows that is in sharp contrast to the unit Steve Bruce has moulded in the face of early opposition on Tyneside, after he succeeded Rafa Benitez.
"You don't win prizes for beautiful football or possession or shots on goal.
"They have this effectiveness and that is a sign of their individual quality," said Farke. "I remember the Chelsea game they had their first corner in the 93rd minute and from that they were able to score a winner.
"They are always good when they are solid, when they are structured and then can concentrate a bit on using the mistakes of the opponent to counter.
"To control their quick counters will be one topic.
"But at home and in a decent position in the table they might opt to press a bit higher. We need to be good in possession. We're respectful but not scared."
Former City defender Bruce is a rival Farke can warm to ahead of Saturday's latest meeting.
"I'm full of respect of Steve's work," he said. "It's not easy when you work at a club where there are many rumours in the background and it is important to have someone with that experience, who is calm and good at man management.
"When you play against a side coached by him you know his team will be well-structured and always difficult to break down. Then you add players like (Miguel) Almiron, Joelinton or (Allain) Saint-Maximin they are also a threat.
"I was pretty happy to beat them at Carrow Road with a really fantastic performance."
City's style has certainly won them plenty of admirers despite the struggle for points.
Regular Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy even claimed last weekend City were the 'best bottom of the league side' he had seen.
"I would prefer to hear we are the best team he has ever seen finishing 16th or something like that in the Premier League," said Farke. "It's nice to get some compliments but we are not dancing on the table because we're bottom of the league. It's perhaps realistic but good to be praised for our way and our performances.
"We still have a goal to work on this little miracle and then at the end of the season we don't have to speak about being bottom of the league."
