Norwich City moved back top of the Championship with a 3-1 win at Millwall - and Daniel Farke is loving the view from the summit.
Leeds deposed the Canaries on Friday night after a thumping 4-0 victory against West Brom but City responded with Marco Stiepermann, Christoph Zimmermann and Teemu Pukki on target at The Den.
City moved onto 69 points after 35 league games, two clear of Marcelo Bielsa’s squad, and five ahead of Sheffield United. The Blades face a testing Steel City derby at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday night as they look to respond to wins for their title rivals.
“We don’t pay any attention to what happens elsewhere,” said Farke. “We know in the Championship things can change pretty big. Leeds were slipping away four days ago after losing and then after a massive win it is they have momentum, they are the team of the moment and they are the leaders and the stadium is celebrating.
“We’ll concentrate on us.

“We don’t pay attention what happens in other stadiums. When you win games you have momentum. For us, to be there with 69 points is a big surprise for many. It is no coincidence after this stage. We know we have reasons to be self-confident.
“We enjoy scoring goals and good performances. But no pressure. Everyone expected us to be mid-table or in a relegation battle.”

Farke was delighted City withstood the physical barrage against Millwall.
“Big compliments to my lads. Millwall is an unbelievably tough place to come,” he said. “Especially when the home side is switched on. Neil (Harris) and all his lads were excellent. This was a spotlight game against the leaders and that made it even more competitive.
“It was a tough test for us so it feels even more pleasing we withstood the test and deserved the win.
“We knew Millwall lost the last two but perhaps that was a downside of success in the cup. They have so many physical threats, long balls.
“It is not easy to create chances. For me, one of our most complicated games of recent weeks.”
