Daniel Farke admits he is a fan of Ondrej Duda and confirmed he is looking to add to Norwich City’s attacking mix in the transfer window.

The Hertha Berlin midfielder is set to fly to England to seal a potential loan move to the Premier League strugglers after the weekend's trip to Manchester United.

Farke stopped short of confirming a deal is in place when he spoke to the media at Colney on Friday lunchtime as he looks to focus on the Old Trafford test.

"I don't want to discuss this too much because we have a game on Saturday and we need to be fully focused," he said. "One thing is for sure a few players have left us in recent days with Dennis Srbeny, a striker and a number 10 option, also Patrick Roberts and Philip Heise and Akin Famewo on loan.

"We were working with a pretty small group of players anyway and of course there are some possibilities right now we're looking to strengthen, especially in the offensive areas with Dennis and Patrick leaving us.

"I think we need a few more options. Duda, we know this player and he is a good player without any doubt. Let's see how the next days develop.

"We're looking to strengthen and bring in some options."

Farke was less reticent on the latest transfer speculation linking Max Aarons with German giants Borussia Dortmund.

The England Under-21 international has been touted with a number of big clubs at home and now Farke's former club.

"I wouldn't spend too much energy listening to all these rumours," he said. "Listen, Max is a young guy, only 20 years old and he has four years on his contract. It's not the right time for him even to think about a January move. If I am honest when you see so many clubs linked with him you have to be very doubtful.

"In Germany a few days ago they say he had already signed for Bayern Munich, then the next day it is Borussia Dortmund. Here in England rumours each and every top club want him.

"When so many clubs are in the race it is very doubtful if that is the case. He has a long contract here and he's totally at the right place. I think he has played something like 21 Premier League games so far, leave him alone and let him play his football."
