Norwich City chief Daniel Farke is ready to unleash his ‘£25m man’ Ondrej Duda on Bournemouth in Saturday’s Premier League relegation tussle.

The 25-year-old Slovakian international was unveiled as the Canaries' first signing of the transfer window, as they bid to revive their survival hopes.

City pounced to sign the Hertha Berlin attacking midfielder on loan after he appeared to fall out of favour under new boss Jurgen Klinsmann - but Farke insists Duda is top quality.

"I would have loved to sign this player in the summer but to sign this player, after he delivered such a season with 11 goals and seven assists, we would have needed to spend £25m and we were not able to do this," said Farke.

"Of course it is a bit more tricky to get him in January when he is not so much in his rhythm and no one can predict if this works out on a world class level.
