Norwich City fans have responded to the club’s revamped membership scheme and the announcement to freeze season ticket prices for an eighth consecutive year.
City made the double announcement during Thursday morning, and the initial reaction appeared to be mixed to the plans for an upgrade to the much-maligned membership scheme.
Club officials embarked on an extensive consultation process around the purchase of match tickets which will lead to reduced prices, a tiered loyalty system and a new 'Match Pick' option which guarantees every member a ticket to at least one game and improves chances of that being one of the most sought after matches.
The club's chief operating officer Ben Kensell said: "This is a membership scheme built by the fans, for the fans. Our consultation process has been thorough and extensive, and we've canvassed opinion and taken on board feedback from supporters both locally and further afield.
"The consultation process demonstrated that there certainly is not a scheme that will work for every supporter, but we are confident that the solution agreed with supporters is a significant step forward.
"We've made the decision to return to a tiered loyalty system, based on games attended during our 2018-19 promotion winning season and have also introduced a Match Pick, which will allow supporters better opportunity to purchase tickets to their desired game."

Josh Spruce: I like it. Rewards loyalty from before anyone started going just to see big teams in the Prem, reduced price for membership and still gives a chance to those without a season ticket to get tickets which was the major flaw in the last system we had (in championship).
Also good that they have reduced the price for renewals hence also rewarding loyalty, blind as it may be, from this season.
Sue Culling: This season season ticket holders were 3rd in line we are now going to be 7th ????
Pete Jessop: How to make a simple process even more complicated. Buying away tickets should be like any other event.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on a certain date and the first 2000/3000/4000 (or whatever our allocation is) who get through (phone or online) get a ticket(s). Why should a home season ticket holder be penalised? Why create a multi tiered system that is confusing? Love NCFC, hate this awkward and cumbersome system.
