Norwich City’s Premier League reunion will have excited players of popular video game FIFA, with the next instalments of player ratings being leaked for the latest edition, FIFA 20.
For Norwich supporters, the rankings make for intriguing reading.
Despite his goal scoring exploits in the Championship and a goal return of five goals in four games, Finnish striker Teemu Pukki doesn't boast the best ratings in comparison with his fellow team mates. Pukki has been handed an upgrade to his 71 rating on last years game, at 77 rated, he's third in the highest ranking leader board of Norwich City players.
Occupying the top spot is on loan Schalke goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann at 80 rated, who despite not yet playing a single minute of Premier League action, leads a host of talent including Argentine Emi Buendia (74) and Max Aarons (72). Fellow loanee Ibrahim Amadou falls just behind Fahrmann, with FIFA 20 providing him with a 78 rating.
Comparatively with local rivals Ipswich Town, their top player on the game is defender Toto Nsiala who has been rated at 69 which is higher than City academy graduate and England under 21 international Todd Cantwell. Other young guns, Ben Godfrey and Jamal Lewis are included in a bunch of players ranked at 71 and 72 respectively.
Last season saw goalkeeper Tim Krul topped the virtual quality charts but he has been subsequently downgraded from 75 to 73 in the latest edition of the game.
EA Sports, who produce the game, have officially released their top 100 players in the game. Lionel Messi takes top spot with a rating of 94 in game with Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo ranking just one place below with 93. The game also offers players the chance to play with their footballing idols including Pele, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane.
