Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ eventful 3-1 Premier League reverse to Manchester United

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who endured another torrid Carrow Road outing in the big league.

- Tim Krul

Light years better than the rest of his team mates. Saved two penalties, a world class stop from Anthony Martial and denied Mason Greenwood late on. Good news on the injury front a must next few days. 9

- Max Aarons

Caught out of possession by Dan James' big diagonal switch for the unmarked Marcus Rashford to slot past Krul. Two excellent attacking bursts did set up golden chances for Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki. 6

- Ibrahim Amadou

Brave to continue in the closing stages after all three changes had been made when he was shoved up front. A split second too slow to sense the danger when Martial ran off the back of him for the third goal. 6

- Ben Godfrey

More than a justifiable sense of grievance he was penalised by the video assistant referee system. By no measure was his challenge on James fulfilling the 'clear and obvious' criteria to overturn the referee's onfield call. 6

- Jamal Lewis

Had started very well up against James but allowed him to pick out Rashford for the second goal. Withdrawn after reporting he felt unwell at the break. 6

- Alex Tettey

Sharp and snappy in the first 15 or 20 minutes. Too big a workload and too many holes to fill in front of the back four. 6

- Emi Buendia

Got the wrong side of the official in the first half to earn a lecture. Attempted slip pass to Marco Stiepermann intercepted by Ashley Young to spark the third goal. Another who finished the game as a virtual passenger after a blow to the shin. 6

- Kenny McLean

Norwich need more from central midfield. Couple of intended probing passes failed to reach their destination 6

- Moritz Leitner

Anonymous. Advanced role not working or unlocking City's creative potential. No sign of a genuine understanding with Teemu Pukki 5

- Todd Cantwell

Day to rapidly forget. Heavy touch and then seemed to lose his bearings as Scott McTominay reacted much quicker to lash a shot into the bottom corner. Harshly penalised for a VAR penalty call. Blazed over at 0-0 with time and space. Did eventually force David De Gea into one tip ovr. 5

- Teemu Pukki

Feeding on scraps again but by his standards should be slotting Aarons' near post cut back early in the second half. 6

City substitutes

- Onel Hernandez 7

Slaloming run brought a landmark Premier League goal. Tested De Gea prior to that and injected much needed attacking edge.

(for Todd Cantwell, 45)

- Marco Stiepermann 5

Big chance to lay down a marker after his demotion. Failed to take it. Took far too long when found in a decent shooting position. Shrugged off the ball by Young on the third goal.

(for Moritz Leitner, 45)

- Sam Byram 5

Underlined versatility at left back.

(for Jamal Lewis, 66)
