Here is Paddy’s verdict on Daniel Farke’s depleted side, who got a taste of their own medicine with Coventry’s late, late comeback at Carrow Road.
• Michael McGovern
Spilled a tame first half header from Amadou Bakayoko but gathered without any damage. Very decent parry from a deflected Callum O’Hare strike at his near post. No chance with the equaliser. 6
• Max Aarons
Left the stadium on crutches and his left foot in a protective boot. Farke suggested a shin injury. Painful blow in the act of failing to cut out Ryan Giles’ cross for the equaliser. Foiled by Ben Wilson with a rising first half shot. 6
• Grant Hanley
Largely a watching brief until Coventry committed more bodies forward. 6
• Ben Gibson
Tried to cut out Giles’ low cross but inadvertently diverted the ball into the path of Maxime Biamou. Important touch in the first half to deal with a probing cross from Fankaty Dabo. 6
• Jacob Sorensen
Had it all on against the adventurous Dabo in the first half. But very composed in tight spots in the second period in possession. Could have few complaints about the yellow card. 6
• Oliver Skipp
Perfect centre for Josh Martin but his shot lacked conviction. Not quite the influence of recent games. Good battle with the lively O’Hare. 6
'You want to die' | Daniel Farke Reaction | Norwich City 1-1 (1)
• Alex Tettey
Composed in possession. Capped by the teasing lob that saw Przemyslaw Placheta go down under a challenge from Wilson to earn a penalty. Got through plenty of defensive work with Coventry looking to probe on the counter. 7
• Josh Martin
Glimpses of his quality. Two excellent balls for Marco Stiepermann chances prior to the interval. Tame strike at Wilson 6
• Mario Vrancic
Never in doubt when he stepped up to take the penalty. Cut back a gorgeous ball from the byline in the second period but no takers. 6
• Przemyslaw Placheta
Adjudged to have been fouled by Wilson for the home spot kick. Should slot a close range rebound when he smacked his effort at the keeper. His pace and thrust were prominent in the best second half spell. 7
• Marco Stiepermann
Lobbed his best sighter at the advancing Wilson in the first half. Not the polish of Pukki in that role but stuck to his task. 6
City substitutes
• Christoph Zimmermann (for Martin, 85) n/a
• Reece McAlear (for Aarons, 90+2) n/a
