Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ spirited Championship win against Rotherham United.
Here is Paddy’s verdict on Daniel Farke’s troops, who showed tremendous character and resolve to overcome a committed Rotherham to return to top spot in the Championship.
• Tim Krul
Largely a watching brief but came through the crowd to make a vital pressure-relieving punch in the final seconds. 7
• Max Aarons
Almost camped in the Millers’ final third in the second half. Served up a chance that went begging for Teemu Pukki. Needless yellow for throwing the ball away. 7
• Christoph Zimmermann
Farke felt Rotherham’s equaliser brushed his captain to deceive Tim Krul. But no-one better in this Norwich side attacking defensive corners. 8
• Ben Godfrey
Headed the winner but his composure, both aerially and on the floor, so impressive in the midst of Rotherham’s direct assaults. 9
MORE: Have your say on our new look Pinkun forum• Jamal Lewis
Prominent attacking outlet in the first half. More circumspect after the interval. 7
• Tom Trybull
Triggered the move for the opening goal. Measured in possession and some vital blocks to halt Rotherham at source. Excellent foil for Kenny McLean. 8
• Kenny McLean
Scored the first with an instinctive attacking burst and composed finish. Assist for the winner. Far more control to his all round craft than some recent performances. 9
• Emi Buendia
Choked a shot when teed up by Pukki. Came in for more rough treatment but should treat that as a mark of respect. 7
• Marco Stiepermann
Selfless shift. Vital outlet to spark City on the counter. 7
• Onel Hernandez
Set Pukki free late in the second half. Good protection for Jamal Lewis. 7
• Teemu Pukki
Another sweet assist for the collection but by his extremely high standards failed to cash in on two or three excellent goalscoring chances. 7
