Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 1-0 Premier League defeat against Sheffield United.

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who returned to earth with a bump after a thrilling FA Cup episode in another fruitless away day in the Premier League.

- Tim Krul

Tipped over a first half header from Oli McBurnie but no chance with Billy Sharp's bullet header from the same range. Saw plenty of the ball on the deck as City attempted to bypass the Blades' press. 6

- Max Aarons

Recipient of a very poor John Fleck challenge early on that did not even earn a free kick. Uncomfortable first quarter all round, with United overloading his flank at every opportunity. 6

- Ben Godfrey

Thwarted by his one-time Shrewsbury team mate, Dean Henderson, who clawed out a towering late header. 6

- Grant Hanley (C)

Muscular duel with Sharp but the home captain went undetected to crash home John Lundstram's cross. 6

- Jamal Lewis

Just like Max Aarons on the opposite side could have done with more support. Notably let down by Ondrej Duda in failing to close the door on Lundstram. Denied by Henderson at his near post. 6

- Alex Tettey

Not the calming influence of late. Harried by the aggressive pressing of the United midfield, led by Fleck. Made way with Norwich chasing the game. 6

- Kenny McLean

Goal-saving block inside his own six yard box to divert Jack O'Connell's angled strike behind for a corner. Deserved the pats on the back from his team mates. 6

- Emi Buendia

Early hit deflected behind. But that proved a rare glimpse of intent. Saw plenty of the ball during Norwich's best spell midway through the opening period. Not able to unlock the door. 6

- Ondrej Duda

Couple of decent link ups with Emi Buendia. Poor on the Sheffield goal in his failure to close down Lundstram, and largely a peripheral figure as the contest unfolded. Not delivering what might have been hoped for when he arrived on loan to plenty of fanfare. 6

- Todd Cantwell

Replaced at the interval as Daniel Farke opted for a change of shape. One must assume he also felt Cantwell was showing the after effects of a gruelling FA Cup shift. 5

- Teemu Pukki

Horrible slice from inside the six yard box with the game goalless. More support when Josip Drmic arrived but again his work in the final third lacked sharpness. 6

City substitutes

- Josip Drmic 6

Glancing header slipped wide after getting the run on Chris Basham. Was foiled by Henderson late on at point blank range but in all probability a 'goal' would have been chalked off for brushing Mario Vrancic's right hand.

(for Todd Cantwell, 45)

- Mario Vrancic 5

Tried to get a decisive touch on the floor to Ben Godfrey's knockdown. But like his team mates that was a rare sighter in the second half.

(for Alex Tettey, 61)

- Adam Idah n/a

(for Ondrej Duda, 87)
