Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 4-2 FA Cup third round win at Preston North End.
Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who progressed to the FA Cup fourth round in a landmark outing for Adam Idah.
- Michael McGovern
Plenty to keep him busy. Fine stops from Billy Bodin, Ryan Ledson, Darnell Fisher and in particular a double stop to thwart Bodin and Tom Bayliss in the final minutes. 8
- Sam Byram

No let up in the workload for City's man of steel. Benefitted from Grant Hanley's arrival for the final quarter. 6
- Ibrahim Amadou
Let Jayden Stockley have a free header in the 18th minute, but thereafter was a dominant aerial presence before a late shift in midfield. 6
- Jamal Lewis
Looked a touch weary in the second half against the tricky Bodin. 6
- Tom Trybull
A spell between City's first and second goals was particularly uncomfortable in terms of coughing up possession. But very decent sidefooted effort from the edge of the area just before the hour mark only just cleared the bar. 6
- Moritz Leitner
Showed plenty of bravery to get the ball deep and pick out forward runners. Probing deliveries from corners, including one Sam Byram should have headed on target. Nice synchronised celebration with Onel Hernandez into the bargain. 7
- Onel Hernandez
Perhaps a touch fortuitous how Connor Ripley spilt his first half effort, but a reward for testing the shaky keeper. Also forced the keeper into a miscued clearance slammed home by Adam Idah. 7
- Marco Stiepermann
The timing of the assist for Idah's first was exquisite. Two assists in total and plenty of joy on the half turn running at Preston's backline. Seemed much happier in this company. 8
- Todd Cantwell
Played within himself on the evidence of recent Premier League displays. Lost a key aerial duel from the first phase of a corner that brought Preston's opening goal. 6
- Adam Idah
Stunning FA Cup debut for the 18-year-old. Pace, power, composure and a clinical edge that has been missing when Teemu Pukki is not fit and firing. Bagged a hat-trick and went close with a glancing header after the restart. 9
