Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 2-1 Premier League loss against Sheffield United

Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who tamely folded in a second half burst from the Blades that not even another VAR-laden 45 minutes could mask.

- Tim Krul

City' stand out performer this season despite the alarming number of goals conceded. But he must feel he could have done better with George Baldock's angled winner that appeared to bounce in front of him and go through his arms. 6

- Max Aarons

Never recovered after being pinned by Enda Stevens to draw Sheffield United level. Thereafter gave the ball away cheaply and played like a young man who had that preying on his mind. 5

- Christoph Zimmermann

Notably more proactive attacking defensive set pieces in the first half. Had to time one sliding block on his own byline just right in the first half. 6

- Ben Godfrey

Miscued clearance presented one early chance for David McGoldrick. Let the same player have two sighters on the counter in final quarter. 6

- Sam Byram

Possibly harshly hooked for Jamal Lewis. Prominent in the first half in an attacking sense. Couple of key tackles to halt counters as well. 6

- Alex Tettey (C)

You could see by his celebration how much that goal meant after a family bereavement. Good anchor for the likes of City's creative midfielders to dictate in the first half. Like his team mates, however, forced onto the back foot for long spells thereafter. 7

- Mario Vrancic

Really look in the mood early on a first Premier League start of his career. Good changes of play and set the tempo. But had a chance to clear and then failed to stop Baldock pivoting to lash past Krul. 6

- Emi Buendia

Fine range of passing in the first half and, just as importantly, chiefly in the right areas of the pitch. Also showed a willingness to help out Max Aarons defensively. Blew one big chance to roll in Teemu Pukki after the break but did serve up Todd Cantwell's chance. 6

- Kenny McLean

Got deeper and deeper in search of work. Never really recovered from Chris Basham's terrible challenge. He has struggled like the rest of his team mates to get near that benchmark display recently at Everton ever since. 6

- Onel Hernandez

Limited chance to get in behind with Sheffield United wing back Baldock such a progressive force. Peripheral. 5

- Teemu Pukki

Blades' defensive three kept a tight watch. Made his usual quota of willing runs into the channels. 6

City substitutes

- Todd Cantwell 6

Forced an excellent stop from Dean Henderson.

(for Onel Hernandez, 72)

- Jamal Lewis 5

Given City's general display tailed off late on he was never really was able to off the width and thrust Farke would have wanted.

(for Sam Byram, 72)

- Dennis Srbeny n/a

(for Mario Vrancic, 81)
