Norwich City could be in for some bonus money should West Ham sell Dean Ashton this summer - for a profit. Reports suggest Ashton could be on his way out of Upton Park, and if the Hammers get more than the 7m they paid Norwich for him in January, 2006, then it will invoke a 15pc sell-on clause for a player who is still just 25.

However, Ashton's time at West Ham has been disrupted by injury and he has made just 51 appearances for the London club - which won't help City's hopes of a fat cheque.

t Former Norwich City loan player Ched Evans is wanted by Stoke boss Tony Pulis, according to reports.

However, he may face competition from Wolves, with Mick McCarthy also keen on the 20-year-old, who is rated at around 2m.

Evans was a hit at Carrow Road in the second half of the 2007-08 season when his loan spell yielded 10 goals in 20 starts.
