Norwich City Under-23s are in action at Carrow Road tomorrow (2pm), taking on West Brom in their latest Premier League Two clash.

The young Canaries are unbeaten in their last four PL2 games, drawing three of those, and were narrowly beaten 3-2 by an experienced Bournemouth team which included strikers Benik Afobe and Callum Wilson in their PL Cup group opener last week.

“Looking back at that game, there was lots of learning that went on,” U23s boss Matt Gill told City’s website, following the exit of his assistant, Darren Huckerby.

“It was great for all the lads, but especially the back four. The experience is invaluable for them.

“We’ve now got a couple of home games on the spin now and it’s an opportunity for the lads to play at Carrow Road again which is good.

“We are desperate to start turning the draws into wins but it’s going to be a tough game against a West Brom side which beat us away from home last year. But it’s one that everyone is looking forward to.”
