King's Lynn Reserves boss Steve Lilley backs his youngsters to edge past Gorleston in today's Norfolk Senior Cup semi-final.

Lynn's second string have forfeited home advantage following two consecutive call-offs but Lilley is confident of success at Emerald Park for the 19-time winners to set up a Carrow Road final date against Dereham or Wroxham.

"I think with the exception of maybe CRC and Histon Reserves it's probably the youngest squad in our league," he said. "It is a huge step up from that level to Ridgeons Premier and we ask them to grow up quickly.

"For me at the start of the season we have two objectives - to avoid being involved down near the bottom and to push a player through to the first team squad. So far we've managed to steer clear of the bottom two and Dominic (Dwyer) has been in and around the first team picture so we seem to be heading in the right direction."

Charlie Defty is unavailable while defender Kevin Leggett is cup-tied.

Wisbech boss Gary Setchell issued a stark relegation warning ahead of the trip to Stanway. Second from bottom Woodbridge moved within one point of overhauling the Fenmen after Town's recent win over bottom side Haverhill.

"I think the Haverhill result has condemned them to relegation and there are four or five teams that could get the second relegation spot," said Setchell. "Norwich United are spending a lot of money and I think they will get out of it. We've travelled to all of the top teams and have home games against several sides in the bottom half of the table, so it's all in our hands."

Paul Cousins and James McManus are both suspended. Ricky Muggleton and Aaron Butcher are injured. Norwich United's Craig Roberts returns from a one match ban to face Leiston.
