It has all changed in Slater & Frith Division One where reigning champions Buxton shrugged off their previous week's defeat to hammer North Walsham A 10-2.

Corpusty, who were the team to beat the title-holders went down 3-2 at East Ruston while newly-promoted Erpingham who have been suffering from a temporary player shortage got their show on the road with a 5-1 victory at Hickling and Lyng maintained form by beating North Walsham OB 3-1.

In Wayford Nurseries Division Two the current player famine in North Norfolk has hit some teams to the point where they have been forced to postpone or at best take the field with less than 11.

However, Felmingham who came up from division three beat North Walsham OB Reserves 3-1 while Coltishall who were relegated from division one score a best of three goal victory over East Ruston Reserves.

In Knights Trophies Division Three Mundesley Reserves racked up their second successive 16-goal victory with just one in reply from Briston Reserves.

The league management committee and member clubs send their deepest sympathy to the family of the longest-serving sponsor Bob Knights who passed away at the weekend.
