After a very successful season Brandon Ladies are now looking to prepare for Eastern Region League football.

They became Suffolk Women’s League champions after a final-day win over Brantham.

Brandon Ladies 7, Brantham Athletic 0

BRANDON Ladies went into their last game of the season knowing that only a victory would give them the league title. They got off to a superb start through goals from Brame and Tomlinson but then seemed to settle and could have been caught out on a couple of occasions but for the in-form Smith in the home goal.

Brantham competed and made Brandon work hard to keep the score at 2-0 at half-time.

The second half saw Brandon finish the game off with two strikes from Forshaw and one apiece from Wolverton, Love and Howard.

A great clean sheet by the Brandon defence and in the end a comfortable victory, making Brandon Ladies the Suffolk Women’s Football League champions in only their second season, a great achievement by all.
