I think the new set-up and philosophy was needed as things got stale and we needed a change of direction.

We needed a head coach that can adapt and be bold with his formations. It looks like from the friendlies so far that’s exactly what we’ve got, which is encouraging.

I think Webber may be hoping to replicate what he did at Huddersfield but I don’t think it will necessarily work for us. The new signings are bargain buys (where does all the money go?), but how a player from the German fourth division will fare in the Championship will be interesting to see.

We keep selling our best players, I was really disappointed with losing Jacob Murphy, it shows the lack of ambition at the club and we will probably not spend much of it.

We now have a very average Championship squad which includes just two strikers, which is unbelievable. Why loan out Carlton Morris?

Alex Pritchard will be the key player for next season if he stays fit (which he isn’t currently).

We have some promising young players like Ben Godfrey and Harry Toffolo, but I’m not sure they will get much game time and if they do they will probably be barracked by some fans just like the Murphys did all last season.

One of the Murphys has gone so the fans got what they deserved, having our best player sold.

A message to those fans: stop it! Or get away from Carrow Road.

The defence has been a major issue in the last two or three seasons; time will tell if the new signings are better than the likes of Ryan Bennett and Sebastien Bassong.

I think the goals for column will come down and the loss of Jacob and only having two strikers will cost us ultimately this season and I predict a 10th-placed finish.

I also think the changes and upheaval will take time to adjust, too much at once is never a good thing and the management team do not know this division and they will be in for a big surprise.

Although I see a bright future with the club, it will take a little longer than most fans will expect to get back to the Premier League.
