So far so good! Three games, two wins, six points, a much better start to the season.

Not just a better start in terms of points on the board, but we are also playing much better. We are starting to play the way we did when we were promoted. We are passing the ball to feet, no more 'Hoof Ball', which central defenders gobble up. It means that we are playing to our strengths, not the opposition's.

I am not a fan of the current formation but it is working. Against Preston, and when we woke up against Luton, we took control of the game in midfield, kept the ball and waited for openings. Having a genuine right-sided midfield player also helps, this means that we have more than one outlet, not just Darren Huckerby.

Both Croft and Huckerby are causing opposition defences problems and are getting quality balls into the box, the only problem is that there is often no one there to get on the end of them.

This is where I think Etuhu can really make a difference. He has had a great start to the season and can endear himself to the fans even more if he can drive into the box and convert some of the chances being created.

Thank you Norwich City for, once again, giving us hope and entertainment.

It would be remiss of me to not pass comment on the recent transfer activity, a good deal me thinks! We have a goalkeeper who is, at present, injured does not want to be at the club and is one of, if not the highest wage earner and we have managed to sell him in a deal worth up to £2million, what a great deal.

I emphasise up to £2million. The deal has obviously been structured to take account of the fact that he is not fully fit at the moment and will probably have clauses in regarding further payments depending on number of appearances and possibly international appearances. So this does not mean that Nigel has got £2million to splash about on new players, in fact the real amount is probably a lot less when you take into account agents fees etc.

Greeno has been a great servant and a fans favourite for a number of years and all of us in NCISA wish him well in his future career.

I also wish to give notice to our members of our AGM which is scheduled for 19 October, 7.30pm in the Norfolk Lounge. A reminder to all members that have not renewed their membership that they must do so prior to the AGM in order to attend. Following the AGM will be a Forum with Delia, Michael, Andrew Cullen and Neil Doncaster. This forum is open to any supporters that wish to attend and ask questions of these board members, at a cost of £2.
