Norwich City will face an away trip to Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup if they beat Bury in their third round replay next week.

Fourth round matches are scheduled for Saturday, January 26.

It would mean two trips to St Mary's Stadium in the space of four days as the Canaries take on the Saints in a Coca-Cola Championship match on the same ground on Tuesday, January 29.

Southampton beat Leicester 2-0 to reach round four, while the Canaries drew 1-1 with League Two side Bury and must replay at Gigg Lane next Tuesday, January 15 (7.45pm).

George Burley's team were beaten 2-1 at Carrow Road on the second Saturday of the current season, Jamie Cureton scoring both City goals.

The Canaries last faced the Saints in the FA Cup in 2003 when they lost 2-0 in the fifth round at St Mary's. Southampton went on to reach the final in Cardiff, where they lost 1-0 to Arsenal.

The two clubs also met in the quarter-finals in 1992, when City won the replay 2-1 at Carrow Road after extra time with goals from Rob Newman and Chris Sutton after a goalless draw at The Dell.

The Saints finished that replay with nine men after Matthew Le Tissier and Barry Horne were sent off.

The first FA Cup tie between the two sides was in 1927, when the Saints had a 3-0 home win in round three.

Non-League Havant & Waterlooville will visit Luton or Liverpool if they win their replay against Swansea.

Tickets are on general sale for City's third round replay at Bury.

Prices are £14 for adults, £10 for 16-21 year-olds, and £7 for over-60s and under-16s.

Club Canary coach travel is £22 (£21 for season ticket-holders), leaving Carrow Road at 12.45pm. The assisted access coach leaves at 12.15pm.
