Norwich City have nothing to fear ahead of their clash with Manchester United on Sunday, according to midfielder Todd Cantwell.
City head into that encounter in high spirits after a resilient display against Bournemouth silenced the critics who questioned their defensive ability.
Despite their upcoming opponents struggling for form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Cantwell believes United will return to their perch at the top of English football soon.
"Manchester United is a massive club," he said. "You aren't going to be able to take that away from them for a long time. They've got brilliant players and we're very wary of what they can achieve.
"I think it's more of a switch for them - once they flick it, they'll be back to where they should be. We've got to be careful we don't take them that lightly and I think everyone is expecting a tough game. Both teams are looking for points so I think it'll be an exciting one."
City boss Daniel Farke has been keen for his side to capitalise on their top-flight naivety. Positivity surrounded their 3-2 defeat against Chelsea, where City matched the five-time Premier League champions for prolonged periods.
Victory against Manchester City came amid an injury crisis that saw 11 players ruled out. Now, Cantwell is hoping the Canaries can produce a repeat of that game.
"I think we can go into it from a perspective that we don't have anything to lose," said Cantwell. "We're playing against a massive team - anything we can get from the game will be positive.
"There's a belief in the changing room that we have a real opportunity to go and get points and everyone will be together fighting for it", added Cantwell, speaking after a half-term Norwich City Sticker Book swap and signing session at the Canaries' fan hub at Jarrold Intersport, in the city centre.
His Premier League adventure has seen him shine, with impressive performances ensuring he's nailed down his starting berth in Farke's starting XI.
"I think I've adapted quite well and quickly but I've got a lot to learn and a long way to go but I'm enjoying the position I'm playing at the moment and I'm just looking forward to each game," he said.
