Marco Stiepermann has fallen foul of the wheel of fortune at Norwich City’s training ground – and will have to clean the car of head coach Daniel Farke, much to the amusement of his team-mates.
City goalkeeper Tim Krul gleefully shared a video on Twitter which shows the German midfielder opting to take his chances with a forfeit wheel, after earning himself a fine.
The Canaries players do not share exactly what Stiepermann had done at the training ground to earn his fine but it is commonplace in football for players to be fined for minor incidents, such as being late for a meeting or using their phone during a meal.
Timm Klose suggests the fine being avoided is £50 and the wheel shows options including paying no fine, half the fine, or potentially being multiplied two, three, four or five times.

City boss Farke will have been pleased with the outcome though, after former Borussia Dortmund and Bochum midfielder Stiepermann lucked out and landed on ‘clean the manager’s car (inside and outside)’.
The consequence was much enjoyed by his team-mates, giving an insight into the spirit in the dressing room of the current Championship leaders, following Saturday’s hugely important 3-2 home win over fellow promotion hopefuls Bristol City.
