Legendary former players Jeremy Goss and Darren Huckerby are returning to Norwich City in ambassadorial roles.
Former Wales international midfielder Goss made 238 appearances for the Canaries between 1984 and 1996, becoming an iconic figure of the club's success in the early 1990s.
The 54-year-old scored a famous volley during City's unforgettable 2-1 win at Bayern Munich in 1993, the only time the German giants were beaten at the Olympic Stadium by a British team.
He also scored the final goal in front of the old Kop stand at Anfield in a 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Premier League during the 1993-94 season, having also scored a stunning goal of the season contender at Leeds earlier that campaign.
Goss played for Hearts, Colchester United and King's Lynn before retiring in 1999. He has continued to live locally and has held off-pitch roles at Norwich since, working as a fund-raiser for the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind for many years.
His previous role as a club ambassador came to an end in 2010 due to financial restraints with City in League One, having also worked on the sales team.
Sporting director Stuart Webber invited Goss back to the club during this season, presenting Timm Klose with a framed shirt to mark his 100th appearance for the club and addressing Daniel Farke's squad.
On the new role, Goss said: "I am so proud and so lucky to be invited back and to be given this opportunity to act as club ambassador again.
"I've fallen in love with this club in 1981-82 and it's still in my heart so you can imagine how I'm feeling. I'm really excited about this season coming."
Fellow legends Grant Holt and Adam Drury will continue in their ambassador roles with the club, which saw them travel to Tampa as part of the touring party to the USA in November.
Goss, speaking to City's official website, added: "For me to link with them, be aside them and do the same role as them is an honour for me to even be mentioned in the same breath as these other three lads because they are legends who have been so successful for this football club. They're crowd heroes.
"Between all of us I think we've played almost 1,000 league games (for the club) and you've got wonderful characters and to be part of that is even more special than I ever thought."
Huckerby also returns to the club in an ambassador role, having previously held academy coaching roles since retiring.
The former winger scored 48 goals in 203 appearances between 2003 and 2008 for the Canaries and played a pivotal role in the Division One title success of 2004 under Nigel Worthington's management.
Huckerby left the club in an official capacity in October 2017 when he lost his role as assistant head coach of the under-23 team amid staff cuts at Colney.
"It's great, I was away for a year and a bit but obviously didn't lose any association, went to most games," Huckerby said. "So it's nice to be an ambassador for a club that has been a big part of my life for the last 15 years. So it's good to be back.
"Gossy has come back and it's good for him, he's been away for a little bit and obviously I know Ads and Holty really well - I carried Ads for five years, so it's going to be no different now...
"It's a good bunch of lads, i think the club are trying to bring some of the old boys back, the fans love to see the old players and I think we can give a little bit back as well."
Chief operating officer Ben Kensell said fans can expect to see the ambassadors at club events, on matchdays and in interviews in the club's matchday programme.
Kensell said: "We are thrilled to be welcoming back both Jeremy and Darren as club ambassadors. It's great to have them joining Grant and Adam and we have a true team of legends off the pitch to help us deliver matchdays and non-matchday events.
"Their service on and off the pitch to Norwich City over the years has seen them all become much-loved with the supporters and staff here. Darren will host the Gunn Club on matchdays with Jeremy taking part in many club events over the season.
"We have worked very hard over the past few seasons to enhance the relationships we have with former players. Following on from the successes of the Norwich City Legends v Inter Forever match last year and the Team Wes v Team Russ celebration game earlier this month, the strength of the bond between the club and it's most iconic players has never been stronger and we look forward to improving the relationships we've forged in the years ahead."
