Norwich City starlet Adam Idah has been nominated for the Premier League Two Player of the Month award.

The Republic of Ireland U21 striker scored three goals in two Division Two matches last month, a penalty in a 2-1 win away to Manchester United and a 2-2 draw with Stoke at Colney, with City coming from behind in both games.

The 18-year-old is up against Brighton forward Viktor Gyokeres, Everton defender Lewis Gibson, Stoke winger Tre Pemberton, West Brom’s 16-year-old striker Morgan Rogers and West Ham winger Dan Kemp.

The shortlist is decided by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel after PL2 club managers picked the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches in March.

Idah, who signed professional terms with Norwich last summer, has 13 goals in 21 matches at under-23 level so far this season. Fellow Canaries U23 striker Anthony Spyrou, now on loan at Wrexham, was nominated for the PL2 award for January.
