Striker Cody McDonald enjoyed a real 'Roy of the Rovers' style debut at Carrow Road earlier this year. After being plucked from non-league football the lively striker came off the bench and scored City's second goal to seal a midweek win over play-off chasing Cardiff.
Cody joined the Canaries on a one-and-a-half year contract from Ryman League side Dartford in February 2009 after an impressive trial spell at Colney. He had previously played on the non-league scene in Essex with Witham Town and Maldon before rising to prominence with goals galore for Dartford.
His all-action displays and determination to make the most of his opportunity in the professional game have already seen him become a firm favourite with the City fans.
