Fresh from Norwich City’s pre-match press conference ahead of their EFL Championship clash with Brentford at Griffin Park on New Year’s Eve, Mustard sports editor Michael Bailey and Eastern Daily Press chief writer Paddy Davitt give their views from Colney.
Norwich City manager Alex Neil and Norwegian midfielder Alex Tettey were put before our reporters and the rest of the gathered media, at the Canaries’ Colney Training Centre.
They chatted through City’s Boxing Day defeat at Reading, Jez Moxey’s midweek video with the club’s media team, tabloid speculation over the City boss’ current contract and looking ahead to the Canaries’ new year programme.
Norwich head to Griffin Park on New Year’s Eve for a 5.30pm kick-off in front of the live Sky Sports cameras, with Brentford desperate to make amends for their 5-0 defeat at Carrow Road earlier this month.
City also welcome Bradley Johnson’s Derby to Carrow Road to kick-start 2017 on Monday, January 2 (3pm).
