Norwich striker Carl Cort is to have an operation on his injured foot in London tomorrow.

Cort, 31, has been sidelined since playing in the 2-0 defeat at Blackpool on March 7 with a bursar - a painful injury to a fat pad on his foot.

“Carl is visiting a specialist in London tomorrow to remove a bursar from his foot,” confirmed Gunn. “It's an injury more commonly found in athletics and other sports rather than football - it's not a break but it is painful and it requires an operation.”
