It has been yet another busy and entertaining week at the FDC, with matches aplenty. On Monday 23 fixtures took place, Tuesday 14, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 12.

Teams are clearly enjoying what is proving to be an excellent winter season, which currently has 20 leagues in operation.

• All Monday leagues are six weeks into the season, which is a week before the halfway stage. In the Premiership ‘Dropouts’ lead a competitive league with an unblemished record, winning all of their games to date. ‘Chemistry Club’, who won the league last season on goal difference, are in second place, five points behind the leaders.

Championship

Not to be outdone by ‘Dropouts’ perfect record, ‘Mullers’ are matching this feat in the Championship and hold a six-point lead at the top. ‘The Undecided’ and ‘Borolona FC’ will be hoping to cut this deficit as the season progresses. At the bottom ‘Rogue Traders’ have performed well and only narrowly lost out to ‘Mullers’ last time out.

League One

League One features yet another team with a 100% record so far this season, in the form of ‘The Warriors’. These lads have let the football do the talking this season and as a result sit eight points clear at the top. ‘Chino Warriors’, ‘Hockering’, ‘Doblo’ and ‘Sands TV’ will all be fighting for second spot, as ‘The Warriors’ look destined for the title.

League Two

It is a lot closer at the top in this league. Just four points separate four teams, namely ‘Real So So Bad’ (16 points),’ Bayern Bru’ (13), ‘Unbelieavble Tekkers’ and ‘FC United of Barracks’ (both 12).

• Tuesday’s teams are exactly at the halfway point of the season, so have now played every team in their league.

Tuesday Premiership

The impressive ‘Forest Green’ sit pretty at the top with six wins and a draw from their seven games. ‘Kings‘ are second and the two meet this Tuesday it what promises to be a cracker!

Championship

‘School House FC’ continue to enjoy County 5IVES, having joined mid-way through last season. They are yet to drop a point since starting and their ruthless form shows no sign of letting up. The consistent ‘Broadland’ sit in second spot, with ‘Originals’ and ‘Dropouts 2’ on their tail.

League One

‘Multiple Scoregasms’ are yet another team with a perfect record this season and they lead the way in League One from ‘Man Chests Unite’.

League Two

‘The Maliban’, ‘Victorious Secret’ and ‘Urban Youth’ are all having good seasons and its looks like it will be a three way tussle for end of season supremacy in this division.

• We have five leagues of eight teams on a Wednesday night at the FDC and all of these teams are at the mid-way point of the season.

Wednesday Premiership

In a tight league, ‘St Catherines’ lead the way but have drawn three of their seven matches. Meanwhile ‘Young Guns’, ‘Roys’ and ‘Boom Squad’ will all fancy their chances of catching them with seven fixtures left to play.

Championship

‘Gerviniho’s Forehead’ lead the way but like the Premiership this division is very open. Just a single point separates ‘Spartek’ in fourth and the league leaders, with ‘Lotus 7’ and ‘Farmhouse’ wedged in between.

League One

‘Norhun’ are having it all their own way in League One, winning all of their games to date. ‘Orange Wednesdays’ are enjoying a good season and sit in second. It looks likely it will be these two gaining promotion to the Championship.

League Two

The wonderfully named ‘ABCDE FC ‘are another team with a 100% record from their first seven games. They have a six-point lead at the top, with ‘Real Sausagemedad’ and ‘Wavno’ vying for second spot.

League Three

An incredible four way battle for supremacy is developing in League Three. ‘Classix’, ‘World V’, ‘River Garden’ and ‘Top Guns’ all sit locked on 15 points, with fixtures against each other likely to determine who will end the season as champions.

• We have three 5-a-side leagues and one 7-a-side league which takes place on a Thursday evening.

Thursday seven-a-side

The experienced ‘Club Cabbage’ lead the way from ‘JMS’ and ‘Heathwood Trucks’, in a division where wins are always well earned. There are no easy games and we’re sure there’ll be plenty of twists between now and the end of the season.

Thursday five-a-side Premiership

‘SME 2’, who moved from the 7s to the 5s league this season, lead the way and beat ‘Granny’s Baps’ 6-3 in a top of the table clash in their most recent fixture. ‘The Alexandra’ are picking up and sit just three points of the top.

Thursday five-a-side Championship

‘Its All Gone Alan Tong’ are top with ‘Singtong Superstars’ close behind in second. These two are new teams this season and are displaying some quality performances along the way.

Thursday five-a-side League One

This new league is just four weeks old and ‘Ajax Treesdown’ and ‘Cushing FC’ lead the way. A mention must also go to ‘Proxama’, who have won their last two games in a row and their upturn in fortunes having moved them into 4th place.
